1. Hi Don! It always amazes me how God speaks and resonates from different voices. Your message resonated with something I read this morning in Anthony Bloom’s book, Beginning To Pray, speaking of paradox and knocking at the door of the Kingdom, our heart’s longing…So much to digest in what God is saying to me, to us… I would ask that you pray with me that God will show me how to absorb the pain of my neighbor, Pam, in her physical emotional pain and poverty. Pray I will be persevering as she pushes everyone away in her pain. Pray I’ll be truly sensitive and know how to walk with her in ways that she can accept, that she will discover Jesus embracing her and holding her through it all. I am deeply concerned for her physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. I love what you quoted that “pity implies hope.” I only wish she were a starfish on the beach that I could throw back into the sea. What a beautiful picture of my heart’s desire for her. In our prayers for her that is exactly what we are doing, I do believe. Thank you so much
